ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) was founded in 2011 under the College of Education and Hospitality Management. Offering full-term courses: Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management.
Hospitality is one facet of the service industry. It primarily involves addressing customer satisfaction and catering the needs of guests. This can be addressed by dealing with issues such as lodging, amenities and travel arrangements.
VISION
The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management envisions to be the regional Center of Excellence and Development in the area of Hospitality & Tourism with actively collaboration with its affiliation that create and assist in the development of the unprivileged youth based on the global standards, perspective and demand of the industry.
MISSION
The Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management anchored by the mission statement of Baliwag Polytechnic College, dedicates itself as leading provider of quality, updated and holistic education that produces highly competent leaders and practitioners in the field of Hospitality and Tourism for the unprivileged youth of Baliwag and neighboring towns.
OBJECTIVES AND GOAL
The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management aims to achieve the following goals and objectives:
- To provide effective and strong foundation of academic programs that will mold and secure the knowledge, ability, skills, and capacity of our graduates
- To create a sustainable development in terms of scholarly and professional concerns that meet the dynamic needs and quality standards of the industry
- To provide students’ exposure in fields related to their courses and affiliation to different hospitality guilds and organizations to enrich their knowledge
