Digital Poster Making Contest

CATEGORIES

Open to all students in Baliwag.

ENTRIES:

1. Each participant should submit ONE entry only.
2. Maximum of one hundred (100) entries shall only be accepted.
3. Open to submit from November 1 – 15.
4. Pre-selection from November 16 – 21.
5. Maximum ten (10) entries will reach final.

CRITERIA:

MECHANICS:

DIGITAL

1. 1. Participants may use any editing software used as instruction in schools (Adobe Photoshop, Paint, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.)
   2. The size of the poster must only be in an A4 size (8.27” x 11.69”) 300 DPI in a PORTRAIT format.
   3. The posters are governed by laws and regulations concerning intellectual property. Thus, participants are strictly advised to submit an original work and avoid using elements on the poster which could possibly subject it to copyright infringement.
   4. For documentation and verification purposes, a time-lapse video recording of the participant creating the poster is also required.
   5. Non-compliance to the rules stated above may result into the applicant’s disqualification.

CLASSICAL

1. 1. Participants may use one-half (½) Illustration Board, oil pastel, water color, etc.
   2. The posters are governed by laws and regulations concerning intellectual property. Thus, participants are strictly advised to submit an original work and avoid using elements on the poster which could possibly subject it to copyright infringement.
   3. For documentation and verification purposes, a time-lapse video recording of the participant creating the poster is also required.
   4. Non-compliance to the rules stated above may result into the applicant’s disqualification.

Classical Poster Making Contest

PHOTOGRAPHY

1. 1. The entry to be submitted should be camera capture (high end DSLR or simple phone).
   2. The pictures are governed by laws and regulations concerning intellectual property. Thus, participants are strictly advised to submit an original work and avoid using elements on the picture which could possibly subject it to copyright infringement.
   3. For documentation and verification purposes, a short descriptive video recording of the participant presenting the picture is also required. Describe how the picture was captured and how it contributes to the theme of the event.
   4. Non-compliance to the rules stated above may result into the applicant’s disqualification.

Photography Contest Form

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: 

1. The participant/s shall certify that the submitted poster is original by submitting a duly accomplished Letter of Originality in .pdf format.
2. Entry Forms shall be accomplished by the participants with an attached copy of a School ID year SY 2021-2022 and shall also be submitted in .pdf format
3. Entry Form, Poster and attached requirements shall be uploaded to the Google form on or before November 15, 2021.3(a). Entry Form

   3(d). Time lapse Video Judging: All submitted entries shall be judged and top ten (10) entries shall automatically advance to the final stage based on the criteria above.

• All entries will be given certificates of participation.
• Final Judging: Top ten (10) entries shall be judged based on the criteria above.
• Three (3) judges are external persons chosen by the Librarian.
• All top ten (10) entries will be given certificates of excellence.
• All top ten (10) entries shall be posted in the BTECH Page and IITI office TV.
•  Top five (5) entries shall be given cash awards, certificate of winning and plaque.
