PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Course aims to develop teachers who can competently and efficiently teach secondary school English. The students are provided knowledge on general education and professional education that includes theories and concepts of teaching and learning, teaching methodologies and strategies, various experiential learnings, and ethical values along with well-selected English electives.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Upon completion of this course, the graduate will be able to:
- Take the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and are eligible to teach in private and public basic education secondary schools.
- Work in other education-related fields involving training, Speaking/ Facilitating in Seminar-Workshops, Textbook Writing/ Developing Modules or Instructional Materials, and education research.
- Pursue Master of Arts in Education or Master of Arts in Teaching as their graduate studies degree.
