ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
The Institute of Education (IE) was part of the College of Education and Hospitality Management (CEHM), established in 2011. It was formed from the dream of the late Mayor Romeo M. Estrella to provide free and quality education for the Baliwagenyo youth.
In 2014, the first batch of graduates of the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Major in English programs took the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Baliwag Polytechnic College made history when Dan Angelo D. Bagadiong was announced as the first BTECHenyo to be included in the top ten with a rating of 87.50%, putting him in 10th place in the BEED category. Mr. Bagadiong’s batch was the first bachelor’s degree graduate of BTECH.
After 8 years, the institute made history once again when Ms. Camille Bella G. Rosos ranked 9th with a rating of 89.60% and Ms. Regine C. Bravo ranked 10th with a rating of 89.40% in the June 2022 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers. Additionally, the institute consistently achieves a passing rate above the national average in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.
Over the past thirteen years, the institution has produced professional teachers who are now serving not only in public and private schools in the Philippines but also overseas. Currently, the institution operates independently under the leadership of the dean and program director. The Institute of Education is committed to offering high-quality free education programs that respond to the increasing demands for education professionals in different sectors of the educational community.
