ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
The Institute of Information Technology and Innovation was created in July 2020.
Originally, the program in Information Technology was supervised by the College of Accountancy, Business, Information Technology and Engineering (CABITE) under the guidance of Dean Raymund Abrea and Program Director Grace Sta. Ana.
Since 2010, the program Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) was already offered to students in Baliwag and in 2021, the program Associate in Computer Program (ACT) was already approved by the Commission on Higher Education.
Currently, the Institute is headed by Dean John Erwin Dinlasan and Program Director Engr. Jocelyn Chan-Enrile with seven (7) qualified and competent full-time faculties and one (1) administrative assistant. It has also produced two hundred sixty three (263) graduates now serving the IT industry both local and abroad.
With the support of the Institute, IT students join the Student Society of Information Technology Education (SSITE) as their college professional student organization with meaningful activities ranging from academic competitions, digital gaming, student webinars and community assistance.
The Institute is affiliated with Association of Computing Education – Deans and Program Heads (ACEDPH) and Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators Region 3 (PSITER3). With partnerships with Department of Information Communication and Technology (DICT) and Systems Plus College Foundation Inc., the Institute remains steadfast in its commitment in providing quality education and services to students, graduates and faculty.
